Concepts#

shapelib is built around one entry point — read_file — and three shape types. You read any file and get back the type that matches its content, with all operations available on it.

🗂️ Reading & saving One read_file for every format, local or in the cloud. 📈 Lines Planting lines: lengths, filters, buffers, masks. ⬠ Polygons Field boundaries: geodesic areas and perimeters. 📍 Points Point layers, neighbor distances and masks.
